As Aventuras do Angosat – Alternativa. Talk + Screening + Q&A + Concert (CCCB)

An evening dedicated to accessibility, cinema, and music, exploring new ways of creating that are more accessible to all audiences.

Accessibility in cinema is not merely a technical issue but a way of rethinking how we communicate, watch, and share stories. It means opening up the audiovisual language to different sensibilities, creating spaces where image, sound, and emotion can be experienced in diverse ways.

As Aventuras do Angosat is a short film shot in Angola that blends humour, sensitivity, and reflection to explore communication and sensory diversity through a poetic lens. It portrays the reality of a creative team made up of people with different disabilities. This diversity is a key driving force behind the film’s creation: each member contributes their own perspective and sensitivity, influencing the story’s approach, rhythm, performance, and collaboration on set. The film shows how integrating people with different abilities transforms the creative process, fostering innovative solutions, an inclusive work environment, and a narrative built through listening.

Thanks to the collaboration with Acció Cinema, the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation, and L’Alternativa, the audience will be able to take part in a conversation with the film’s team — while enjoying the bar — to share creative processes and the ideas behind their unique cognitive universe.

The event will conclude with a live concert by Isis Hembe, the film’s protagonist, joined by Adé Da Costa on guitar and Resem Vekron, the film’s co-director, on beats. A concert that will extend the emotions of the film in an atmosphere of collective celebration and connection.
