On December 3rd we celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1992 to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities around the world.

To commemorate this date, schools and high schools, organizations, and services for people with disabilities will take part in several flashmobs for inclusion — a collective action aimed at making diversity visible and advocating for a fairer, more accessible society for everyone.

In addition, Inclús, in collaboration with ECOM and other organizations, will offer a participatory workshop to create backpack tags made from recycled advertising banners from previous years, where each participant will be able to write their name in braille.

A playful, sustainable, and inclusive activity that combines creativity, reuse, and awareness — reminding us that everyone has a place and a name in this society.
