Breaking Waves

“You have a spinal cord injury and you will never walk again.” Thus begins the true story of filmmaker Katelijne Langezaal, who after a boating accident during a shoot in the Caribbean decides to film her own recovery process from day one. Refusing to accept a life in a wheelchair, she travels to the United States to try an alternative therapy that allows her to gradually regain some of her movement.
