A session dedicated to CRIP cinema and new audiovisual narratives created from disabled perspectives. Through fiction and documentary short films, the programme explores self-representation, activism, care and different ways of inhabiting the world.
The session champions the leading role of disabled people in filmmaking, both in front of and behind the camera, while offering a critical perspective on stereotypes and conventional representations of disability.
In collaboration with LA CRIP, the session opens up a space to discover other forms of audiovisual language, share experiences and question who gets to tell stories and from whose perspective.
