LSC Short Film Creation Workshop · Orgull en Signes

The LSC Self-Creation Workshop – Orgull en Signes is a creative space where Deaf and hearing participants work side by side to imagine, develop, and film a short movie in Catalan Sign Language. A proposal that focuses on authorship, personal perspective, and signed storytelling.

The workshop focuses especially on the screenwriting and creative development process, providing tools for participants to explore stories that represent them, create characters, structure scenes, and find the best way to express them in sign language.

Once the script is defined, the group coordinates to prepare and film the short movie, with the support of professionals from the Inclús team.

The sessions of this first edition will take place on:

16 and 17 December (4–8 pm)

Workshop structure

• Intensive work on scriptwriting and creative development

• Collective creation of characters and narrative structure

• Preparation and shooting of the short film

• Final editing by the Càmeres i Acció team
